Roblox Games That Give You Robux: What's Real and What's a Scam
Updated October 16, 2026
Short answer: no Roblox game can create free Robux out of nothing. Robux in a game always comes from someone paying real money — usually another player. There are a few legitimate ways other players can give you Robux, and a lot of scams pretending to. Here's how to tell them apart.
Games where other players can give you Robux
PLS DONATE is the best-known game where players can receive Robux. You claim a booth, write a message on it, and other players can choose to donate Robux to you. It's real, but you're relying on strangers' generosity — most booths earn little or nothing.
- According to the game's own rules, donating requires a Roblox Plus subscription.
- Robux transfers have daily and monthly limits (500 per day and 1,000 per month), which turning on 2-Step Verification raises.
- Players under 18 have extra restrictions on donations.
How people really earn Robux
- Make a game in Roblox Studio and sell game passes or in-game items. This is how successful developers earn — it takes time and skill, but it's real.
- Design avatar items (UGC) and sell them on the Roblox Marketplace once you qualify as a creator.
- Eligible creators can exchange earned Robux for real money through Roblox's Developer Exchange (DevEx) program.
- A paid Roblox membership includes a monthly Robux allowance.
- Gift cards: someone buys a card and you redeem it.
Free Robux scams to avoid
- "Robux generators" — websites that ask for your username and password. They steal accounts. There is no such thing as a generator.
- Games with "free Robux" in the title that ask you to complete offers, download apps or visit a website.
- Discord or chat messages offering Robux if you "verify" your account, scan a QR code or log in on another site.
- "Admin" or "Roblox staff" accounts promising Robux. Roblox staff never give Robux to random players.
- Anyone asking for your gift card PIN "to check it".
Free stuff that is real
If what you really want is free things for your avatar, skip the Robux hunt: Roblox promo codes give free items, thousands of catalog items cost 0 Robux, and game codes give free rewards in your favorite games.

FAQ
Is there a Roblox game that gives free Robux?
No game can create free Robux. In PLS DONATE, other players can choose to donate Robux to you, but there's no guaranteed way to earn it by playing.
Are free Robux generators real?
No. They're scams that steal accounts. Never enter your Roblox password anywhere except roblox.com or the official app.
What is the safest way to get Robux?
Buy it from Roblox directly, redeem an official gift card, or earn it by making games or items as a creator.
Does PLS DONATE really work?
Yes, donations are real, but they come from other players' generosity. Most players receive little or nothing, so treat it as a social game, not income.
