How to Redeem a Roblox Gift Card (and Avoid Scams)

Gift cards are redeemed on the Roblox website, not inside a game. It takes under a minute.
Steps
- Go to roblox.com/redeem in a web browser and log in.
- Scratch the back of the card to reveal the PIN.
- Type the PIN into the box and click Redeem.
- If the card gives credit, use it to buy Robux or Roblox Premium from your account.
Redeem in a browser (including on your phone) — that's the most reliable way.
Gift card vs promo code vs game code
- Gift card PIN → roblox.com/redeem → Robux or credit.
- Roblox promo code → roblox.com/promocodes → free avatar items.
- Game code → typed inside a specific game → rewards for that game only (see our codes pages).
Common gift card scams
- Anyone asking for your gift card PIN "to verify it" — never share it.
- Websites offering free gift card codes — they don't exist.
- Cards sold online for far less than face value — often already used.
